jamieross103 The Mumbai Lounge Indian restaurant in Brigg, North Lincolnshire, is a gem of asian cuisine. All the staff were very courteous and obliging, always with a smile. First impressions were good. We were asked if we understood the dishes on the extensive menu and as many of them were new to me, I was impressed that the staff took time to explain them, indicating which were hot. Always helpful.
My starter was a chicken chaat, which was very tasty, really quite palatable. With my appetite whetted, I was eager to receive my main course of Special Mixed Biryani, accompanied by a delicately light garlic naan bread. The presentation and colour was superb, always a bonus before tasting. And then the taste. Lovely; perfect for my palate and a pleasure to eat. The accompanying vegetable curry was just as appetizing. In my opinion, this meal and the restaurant itself, could not be bettered. It represented excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to experience fine Indian food.
