jamieross103 We had heard great things about this very old place. Stanley’s is the oldest operating mom and pop BBQ joint in Tyler, serving up true, pit smoked BBQ for over 55 years. We joined the line at around 12:09am and we only had to wait for 20mins to get served – success.
We headed inside and it was like stepping back in time as the video shows below. I ordered the Ribs, Brisket, Sausage and Beans as always.
I liked it but it was not a Top 10 BBQ in my opinion, in the Top 50 for sure.
We wandered around the back of the BBQ place and found a seat overlooking the pits. I enjoyed it but I would not drive all the way to Tyler from Dallas for this BBQ but please go and make your own opinion. See the Menu below.
