This barbecue place was recommended to us so we decided to visit after our second vaccine shot. When you approach it is obviously a purpose-built building and I did not see any smoke even from a pit and when I walked in I still could not smell any smoke anywhere.
I ordered my usual three meat plate and two sides. I added some burnt ends and barbecue beans extra.
The brisket which was quite dry had some great smoke and a lovely tasty Rub but unfortunately was just to dry to enjoy. As you can see in the picture there is a little fat witch that mouthful made the whole thing come together but there was not much kicking around.
But the sausage was really good. One of them was more of a black pepper style and was very tasty had some smoke and overall was great. The second sausage which was more standard which included some cheese was just okay nothing special.
My wife Jennifer opted for the brisket sliders and as you can see they are more like four brisket bread buns, it was nice because the brisket was chopped quite roughly and you’ve got quite a bit of the rub and the meat and a little bit of fat as well so it was a tasty mouthful but just be prepared you get a lot. It was nice seeing him chop a brisket fresh for our sliders.
