I must be honest that when I approached this building it looked like a chain style restaurant as it was a new building and look like any other restaurant. I went inside and grab the table and hope the barbecue was as good as everybody had told me.
The server was full of life and I looked through the menu and decided to go with a three meat plate and two sides.
At this point I was starting to worry a little, I did not smell much smoke in the building and it had a feel of just another barbecue place. Let me tell you this was some Lidget and really good food. The brisket was moist, had a great smoke run, and was super tasty.
Sausages spicy and a little too moist for me in that it sort of fell apart a little rather than being further but the taste was blooming good. Good.
But the star of the show was the ribs They were fall off the bone, delicious, had a really nice rub to them and I enjoyed every mouthful.
I have no doubt this is good barbecue and I am sure if you were to put a food truck outside and serve it that way people would have a different idea about what this barbecue is and taste like, it is worth the trip as it really is quite tasty. The only negative really is the beans and the Mac and cheese which is not that good at all really. The beans basically were beans in barbecue sauce and not meaty like I expect.
But what I will say is the signature Krunchy fries were fantastic.
In summary it seems like a good barbecue house, the meat was good and the taste was good just the atmosphere didn’t feel like a barbecue place it felt more like a restaurant.
