As a lover of Japanese whisky I was super thrilled to go and visit this distillery in Japan. When you arrive at the distillery it is well organised and you need to book well in advance, well we did anyway.
Once you go through security you walk through a historical museum and then you get to see the 4000 bottles of blended/mixed whiskey that they create in order to produce the few bottles they actually release.
Next comes the tasting and visitor centre, I got to select a tasting from some very old whiskies.
After the tasting we wandered around taking shots of some great stills etc. It was a great tour and tasting. Loved it.
