When this restaurant opened in 2020 I was super excited to go and eat there, 5 months waiting and we got to go. I was told this was Michelin Star quality in Dallas, sadly it was not and although fine dining not as fine or refined as a Michelin Star. The price was the same if not more than a 3*** Michelin but this was simply a fine dining restaurant with service and ambience of a normal restaurant. BUT the views from the 49th floor were stunning while you dined on good food.
Upon arrival in the lobby you receive a glass of champagne and wait to be escorted to the 49th Floor, when you walk in you realise how big this restaurant is, it seems to have 3 sections… we were lucky enough to get a window seat for a 5pm sitting.
We opted for the Royale Menu for 290$, Jenny our server explained it was 4 courses ( but there are sometimes 5 dishes in each course depending upon the chef), we said yes !
Course 1 – I will let the pictures do the talking.
As well as the above we got Oysters from MA and Russian Caviar with Blinis included in this Course.
At this point we did the wine pairing which was 4 wines in total for 150$ although they kept you well topped up for the price.
Course 2 – Alaskan King Crab with Pasta a super rich tasty sauce.
Course 3 – Wagyu Strip Steak, Asparagus and Truffle Mashed Potato, topped with more French Truffle.
Course 4 – Dessert
This was a great experience but as the night went on by 7pm it was getting louder and louder – eventually it was too loud and too full, they certainly cram in alot of tables.
