I was at a sales conference in Chicago and I had an evening free so wanted to enjoy a really good dinner so opted for Spiaggio, I had heard good things so managed to get a reservation for one which was lucky at short notice. I was impressed but not blown away like most of the other 1 star restaurants I have eaten in… but still really really good food and pairing.
We started with a great old fashioned and some bread and olive oil.
Next the Amuse Bouche.
The atmosphere is modern and spacious and you can see the kitchen and see all the moving parts.
The meal had a good wine pairing as per below and on the menu it is listed.
Next came the desserts…..
