One of my friends sent me this as a facebook post and said we should go, we went and WOW, the food was beyond belief, it was super fresh Japanese food with a UK twist as the chef has spent years in both countries.
The first course was some of the best oysters I have ever had, just a mouthful of joy. It was served with a Highball. KUMAMOTO OYSTER, HOKKAIDO UNI, STARGEON CAVIAR, IKURA, NORI, MACHA OIL
We had the next cocktail with HAND DIVED KYOTO BAY SCALLOP, CANTALOUPE JUICE, FENNEL, SPICED PROSCIUTTO and the whisky EIGASHIMA AKASHI UME
COURSE 3 was WILD PACIFIC TORO, ROCK CHIVES, YUZU CREAM, USHUZUKI SOY, FRESH TRUFFLE and the whisky MARS IWAI GRAIN.
COURSE 4 – MYAZAKI A5 WAGYU, CRISPY POTATO STRINGS, SMOKED TRUFFLE SOY, 24CT GOLD served with MARS IWAI 45
Pre-DESSERT – TRIPPLE CREAM CHEESE SOUFFLE, MISO CARAMEL served with MIZU GREEN TEA SHOCHU
DESSERT was GUANAJA CHOCOLATE DUMPLINGS, YUZU CRÈME ANGLAISE, COLD SMOKE served with MARS KOMAGATAKE 2020 LIMITED EDITION SINGLE MALT
